Happy Monday!
Happy March!
And March madness has already begun and is in full swing…and I’m not talking sports.
I usually don’t get very political in my blog posts, but I’ve lost words and I’m losing hope.
This week, I need you to do the following.
- Tell someone in your life that you love them.
- Do something kind and unexpected for someone else, preferably a stranger.
- Think about the person who is currently leading this Country and how he and some of his Team treat other humans. They are not kind. And when people see how the person in the highest seat of power acts, it seems that it just makes it ok for others to act like that, which it is not.
Need I remind you that hate crimes were at their highest levels in this Country when this individual in The White House currently was in power previously?
I’m part of a marginalized community in this Country and I have an extreme fear for the future and the rights for what I believe in and work hard for will be sweeped out from under me (and a lot of my friends) in an instant.
I hope those of you who are reading these words and following me will lead with kindness.
Because the current powers that be are making me lose words and hope.
